Can You Use Eyeliner as Lipstick?
This is a rather interesting question because there are so many misconceptions about cosmetics and how to use them. Many people believe that if you buy a product that is labeled for a certain purpose, then you can only use it for that particular purpose. However, this isn’t always the case. Products like eyeliner are actually quite versatile. So, Yes you can use eyeliner as lipstick if you would like to.
There are some things that you should be aware of beforehand though. Make sure that the eyeliner that you would like to use on your lips is brand new and has never been used on another part of your face. Using an eyeliner on your eyes and then using it on your lips can spread germs. So, avoid that at all costs. Also, waterproof eyeliner can be drying, especially if used on your lips. You will get a lot better result if you use a creamier formula of eyeliner. If you would like a matte look to your lips, you can use the eyeliner on its own, but if you want a little shine, you can add some gloss on top of the eyeliner.
So, there you have it. You can use eyeliner as lipstick and if you follow these tips, you can create a really awesome look.
One last thing you should know, even though it’s all right to use eyeliner as lipstick, you should NEVER use lipliner as eyeliner. The pigments and other ingredients in lipliner, and many other cosmetic products, should never get near your eye.
